SOL DIVIDE -SWORD OF DARKNESS- is
a horizontal-scrolling shooter game that
first appeared in arcades in 1997.
Other than normal shots, players can also
use melee attacks to deliver vertical slashes to enemies
as well as 11 different types of magic spells!
Creating openings using melee attacks or pinpointing the element
the enemy is weak against are keys to formulating a good strategy!
Pick your preferred life gauge length, max continues, key controls,
and more to make the game just right for you.

Dark Knight “Vorg” is the ultimate sword attacker!
4-combo move: Slash > Slash > Slash > ↑ + Slash
Unique spell: Nightmare – Attack straight ahead and freeze enemies.
Wing Lancer “Kashon” can pierce through any enemy with his spear!
4-combo move: Slash > Slash > Slash > → + Slash
Unique spell: Phoenix – Incinerate all enemies on screen.
Great Mage “Tyora” is a fear-inspiring spellcaster!

The life gauge has five tiers, whereas continues can be set between 0 to infinity.
